Dr. Sheng Wu

RESEARCH FELLOW（2021.11-~）

Sheng Wu graduated from Xiamen University in 2015 and got his PhD from Peking University in 2021. Throughout his doctoral career, including a two-year visiting in Georgia Tech, he missed Xiamen University and never thought about coming back by this way. Sheng focused on the decadal variability and global warming in his doctoral thesis. He met two good friends long time ago, however, he is used to work with 'Pacific'. And he should pay more attention to 'Atlantic' in the future. Sheng will work with Professor Li in the following areas: 1) Atlantic meridional heat transport, 2) Inter-ocean interactions, 3) Climate variability under global warming. In his free time, Sheng enjoys Study (badminton), Working (running) and Doing research (swimming)!!!

Jiafang He

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (2022.6-~)

Jiafang He graduated from Xiamen University in 2020, majoring in marine affairs. Her research direction is integrated coastal zone management. In June 2022, she joined the lab as an Administrative Assistant to assist the research group in completing daily operation, maintenance and management. In her free time, Jiafang He likes swimming and watching movies.

何佳芳2020年毕业于厦门大学海洋事务专业，研究方向是海岸带综合管理。2022年6月加入实验室，担任实验室行政助理一职，协助课题组完成日常运行、维护和管理工作。在空闲时间，何佳芳喜欢游泳和看电影。

Peng Xu

GRADUATE STUDENT ( 2021.9-~)

Peng studied at the Ocean University of China, located in Qingdao, a beautiful coastal resort city in China. The beautiful environment of Qingdao, the unique culture of the OUC, and the scientific research strength in marine science have kept his curious about marine science and he is committed to making long-term explorations here. Currently, his points of interest are in the following areas: 1) In the ocean, the influence of the process of the generation and extinction of eddies on the heat transfer of the water body, 2) Changes and influencing factors of meridional heat transfer in the North Atlantic Ocean in the sub-polar regions, 3) The relationship between heat transfer in the ocean and global climate change. In addition to scientific research and learning, he also has certain accomplishments in long-distance running, badminton, and swimming. If you are interested in our research group or him, please contact him. Like stones and currents, there will be time to return to one place to become mountains and seas; like wind and rain, there will always be days when they will meet. 许鹏本科就读于中国海洋大学，位于中国美丽的滨海度假城市青岛。青岛得天独厚的优美环境、海大学科的特色文化以及海洋科学方面的科研实力，让他对海洋科学始终保持一颗好奇心，并致力于在此长足探索。目前，许鹏的兴趣点在以下几个方面：1）海洋中，涡旋的产生和消亡这个过程对水体热量传输的影响，2）副极地北大西洋海域经向热传输的变化以及影响因素，3）海洋中热传输和全球气候变化之间的关系。科研学习之外，还在长跑，羽毛球，游泳上有一定的造诣，如果你对我们课题组或者许鹏有兴趣，欢迎联系他。山海自有归期，风雨自有相逢，期待与你的交流，谢谢。

Wen Si

GRADUATE STUDENT (2022.9-~)

Wen Si did her undergraduate studies in Shanghai Ocean University (SHOU) and joined the Li Lab as a Ph.D. student in 2022. Living in an inland city since childhood made her very curious about the ocean. Wen chose to major in Marine Science in SHOU and to pursue further graduate studies in Xiamen University after graduation. Here, Wen will explore changes in the large-scale ocean circulation with a special focus on the Atlantic’s overturning variability. In addition to her research, she loves movies, food and travel. Constantly exploring new things makes her excited and happy. Looking forward to meeting many new friends.

司文本科就读于上海海洋大学，2022年作为直博生加入李非栗课题组。从小生活在内陆城市使她对海洋充满好奇，在本科选择了海洋科学作为自己的专业，并在毕业后决定来厦门大学进行更深层次的学习。司文将在这里探索大尺度海洋环流的变化，尤其是大西洋经向翻转环流的变率。在科研学习之外，她热爱电影、美食以及旅行，不断探索新的事物会令她兴奋与愉悦。期待认识许多新朋友！

Gang Wang

GRADUATE STUDENT ( 2022.9-~)

Gang graduated from Wuhan University and joined the research group in 2022. At present, he is interested in the climatic impact of AMOC and tries to find out its relationship with hydrographic parameters using machine learning. In his spare time, Gang likes swimming and archery.

王刚本科毕业于武汉大学，2022年加入课题组。目前,他目前对于大西洋经向翻转环流对于气候的影响比较感兴趣，并尝试运用机器学习找出其与水文参数之间的联系。在科研之余，王刚喜欢游泳与射箭。

Xueyao Ji

GRADUATE STUDENT (2023.9-~)

Xueyao Ji majored in Marine Science at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology(NUIST). After completing her undergraduate studies, she has decided to further pursue her education in the field of ocean science and has chosen to continue her studies at Xiamen University. In her spare time, she enjoys watching variety shows, movies, and gong to livehouse. She hopes to overcome arrogance and procrastination during her graduate studies and become a better person. She looks forward to connecting and communicating with you!

冀雪瑶本科就读于南京信息工程大学海洋科学专业，在本科毕业后决定继续在海洋科学领域深造，于是选择来厦门大学继续学习。在课余生活中，她喜欢追综艺，看电影，听音乐。希望在研究生阶段，她能够戒骄戒躁，克服拖延，成为更好的人。期待与你的联系与交流！！！

Yuxin Wu

Yuxin Wu is an undergraduate student majoring in marine science in Xiamen University, with great passion in the great process of exploring the unknown, she joined in the group as a freshman. Yuxin is focusing on figures related to AMOC currently. In her spare time, she enjoys football, music, and debating.

吴雨歆是就读于厦门大学海洋科学专业的一名本科生，怀揣着对于探索未知的巨大热情，她在大一时加入了课题组。目前，吴雨歆正在研究影响大西洋经向翻转环流的因素。科研之外，她也很喜欢足球、音乐和辩论。
