Abstract As the study of physical measurements in Physical Oceanography( such as sea surface wind, waves, ocean currents and sea surface temperature), there arises a need to interpolate for regularly-spaced data as these data often obtained by different sensors with different time and scale. Objective analysis, an algorithm including interpolation, deletion of error data and smoothing, is featured with flexibility and data consistency. It is suitable for dense and redundant data regions. However, the identification and correction is insufficient, and the computation of each grid is amount. Shepard interpolation, a simple and suitable local interpolation method, is sensitive to the selection of the weight function and susceptible to be influenced by the data point group. This paper trys to integrate the algorithms above to achieve a better interpolation of data fusion. The final results obtained are helpful to analyze the changes of marine environment.
