Never can we ignore the impacts of blocking highs on the climate of north hemisphere. Different kinds of blocking highs have different impacts on the distribution of rainfall in China. Two kinds of blocking highs are selected, namely Ural blocking and Okhotsk blocking. When the two kinds of blocking highs coexist, the atmospheric circulation is favorable to heavy rainfall in China.
