Her research interests focus on improving the understanding of degrading freshwater and marine systems and our ability to forecast their future variability. Current research interests are to estimate the spatial distribution of
water quality parameters and contaminants in large-scale surface waters or in the water sediment by
developing spatial statistical models. Additional interests include exploring the effect of nutrient loads and
weather patterns on the decreasing water quality of surface water.
