Open for Abstract Submission
The Local Organizing Committee would like to announce that the abstract submission for XMAS-IV has been extended to th, 2018.
The Xiamen Symposium on Marine Environmental Sciences (XMAS) is a biannual international symposium series held in Xiamen, China, with the overarching theme of “The Changing Ocean Environment: From a Multidisciplinary Perspective”. The symposium consists of different, interconnected sessions covering physical oceanography, marine biogeochemistry, biological oceanography, geological oceanography, and marine ecotoxicology along with workshops for emerging topics in marine environmental sciences.
The fourth iteration, XMAS-IV, will be held from Jan 6th to 9th, 2019 in Xiamen, China. We are calling for abstract submissions for the 27 sessions (Appendix：XMAS-IV-Sessions & Workshops).
Early-career participants who are interested in joining Xiamen University as faculty members or postdoc research associates are invited to apply for the recruitment-oriented special reception (http://mel.xmu.edu.cn/conference/4xmas-specialreception/) held on Jan 10th, 2019. Travel funds will be awarded to those accepted applicants. The applicant should have obtained his/her Ph.D. degree within the last 10 years and/or expected to obtain his/her Ph.D. degree within one year. The applicant must have also submitted an abstract to XMAS-IV.
